My favorite part of any award show is the Red Carpet. This year, I was a little nervous we wouldn't get the same fashion head turners that I've come to love. Fortunately, the celebs didn't disappoint! Here are my top 5 picks from the Emmy's, COVID Style.
5. Jeremy Pope
To start us off, I must show love to Broadway star Jeremy Pope. One, because I love all things Broadway and musical theatre. Two, because of this suit.
It's not often that a man is a head turner for me in a positive way on the red carpet (sorry fellas). Usually when a man tries to step outside of the box, he goes just a little too far for my taste.
But this suit, by Louis Vuitton paired with shoes by Christian Louboutin is a show stopper!! The patchwork design is spectacular, the hues of brown chosen, classy af, and the sharpness of the shoe ties it together perfectly. Bravo!
Jeremy stars in Netflix's Hollywood, and "if you want to see some real fashion baby here's your chance!" The show is dynamic and the costuming divine, put it on your binge list.
4. Cynthia Erivo
I'm loving this dress by Versace. It's a perfect pick for Cynthia's whole vibe. Very futuristic feeling, from the sleeve to the fabric design with beautiful and delicate beadwork. The vibrant purple and lime hues are a great compliment to her skin tone. Flawless.
3. Tracee Ellis Ross
First of all, Tracee is a fashion icon period. This dress by Alexandre Vauthier brings me joy. I look at it and I feel happy. It's such a perfect nod to old school Hollywood glam with a fresh perspective. The draping of the fabric is pure excellence. All hail Queen Tracee!
2. Zendaya
Zendaya is on my styling wishlist so I always enjoy seeing her on the red carpet, and I live for a structured look. This dress by Christopher John Roger is timeless. The neckline, the cummerbund, and billowing skirt create a beautiful silhouette. Christian Louboutin shoes, and Bulgari jewelry complete the look flawlessly.

I'm going to be honest... this look is the entire reason I wrote this blog post. Like REGINA!! SLAAAY GIRL!!
This is who I expect to greet me at the gates of heaven! I mean, just divine!!
Schiaparelli Couture dress, glorious! Stuart Weitzman sandals, Bondeye earrings, and Nouvel Heritage rings, can I get an encore! Can you hear the angels sing??
This look, hands down, is best of the night for me. I love it from head to toe. Also, shot out to the stylists, Wayman + Micah everything they touch is gold!
